So yesterday when I was out riding in in San Juan, I went ahead of our little group and zipped through some of the single track. At one point I had stopped to wait for the rest of the guys. While I was waiting, there were a group of other riders resting near by. I greeted them and even chit-chatted about the trail.
But then one thing funny happend….one by one, each of the guys there started sizing me up. No not to fight, but they kept looking at my bike, the Fezzari Alta Peak and would look away like some sort of snob. I guess in their minds the Fezzari wasn’t quite as good as their Specialized StumpJumpers and Kliens….
Oh well…you get snobs in everything in life, sports, work, neighbors….What’s funny is, they can judge me all they want, its the rider that makes a bike great.
