DIY: Handle Bar Camera Mount

I figured out another cheap way of taking your digital camera on the trails with you without having to spend hundreds of dollars for a special camera.
Basically all you need is a rear seat post reflector, 1 1″ x 1/4″ screw, a couple of nuts and your camera.

First remove the reflector.

Life happens….

I was supposed to write a first impression of the NiteRider Dual MiNewt lights. Unfortunately, my youngest daughter came down with a fever and I was not able to make it to the beers and bike ride. I hope to ride this friday and test the lights and give the SweetSkinz prototypes another test.

WiseCracker Bottle Opener Installed

Yesterday I installed the Ahrens Bicycles’ WiseCracker Bottle Opener on the Fezzari Abajo Peak. This little bad boy will be going through a series of rigorous tests. Something that I’m more than willing to perform.

The WiseCracker doesn’t appear to get in the way if you use a saddle bag or lower the seat.

It [...]

Riding Solo

NOTE TO SELF: Invite 10 women next time so at least one shows up.
So it was kind of a bummer to get those cancellation phone calls at 6:45am this morning. I am sure you have all been there yourself. Stuff happens, but I still went out and had myself a good [...]
