Shimano XTR: Upclose

Posted by RL Policar On March - 23 - 2007

The new Shimano XTR is way sweet. Too bad it’s too expensive! But I went over to Jax Bicycles in Fullerton to check out what they had on display.

I took some shots so we can all drool over it.

Here’s a Trek Fuel EX 9.5….Carbon Frame laced with XTR.

XTR rear derailleur.

XTR hydraulic brakes

XTR Cranks

XTR shifters and brakes

All this XTR and Carbon stuff isn’t cheap…it does come with a price tag.

The Woodstock 707 is still impressing me

Posted by RL Policar On March - 22 - 2007

This morning Jeremy and I rode a short part of the Fullerton Loop. I rode the Woodstock 707 and Jeremy had the KHS Tucson.

Man, I swear when I resize photos it somehow takes my eyes out, and Jeremy’s too…Dang Jeremy looks pretty tall in this photo…That’s one tall Mexican!

As long as I set up the Manitou Radium to my specific air pressure, I have no pedal bob.

Right before a log bridge.
