Gary Fisher HiFi 29er

Some photos of Gary Fisher’s new HiFi 29er are on mtbr.com forums.

This is for Nat Ross, the Gary Fisher racer, hence the different paint job. The medium sized bike weighs in at a very light 24.5 lbs. Race ready indeed.

This is not a replacement of the Supercaliber or Caliber (Gary Fisher’s current two full suspension 29ers) which falls under the Race Day category. Those two bikes have 80mm of travel. Rather the new HiFi 29er, with 100mm of travel, will be under the HiFi category.

A close up look at the Rock Shox Reba 29er, a new G2 offset fork.

There isn’t a lot of information out about this 2008 bike, but it is something I’m looking forward to seeing especially because of all the favorable reviews/comments regarding the HiFi. Combining the HiFi and my love for 29ers seems like it will result in a great bike indeed.

No idea of pricing yet. For more info on the HiFi technology or G2 geometry, click here.
