Wick or T?

So which is better, a moisture wicking shirtor a regular cotton t-shirt?

In the past few months I’ve been playing around with different shirts. One ride I’ll wear some sort of lycra/spandex jersey and on another ride I’ll wear a regular cotton tee. Heck just last week I even wore my Hawaiian shirt with my Kukui necklace during a ride at the Fullerton Loop.

So here’s what I came up with. Moisture wicking shirts are great for warm days. Though cotton shirts are more comfortable, and are perfect for cold weather riding, they suck because of the sweat that gets locked in.

Now I know that jerseys do great things for moisture management, but I just don’t like any of them. Ok,well except for the ones Hoss MTB makes.
Any how, on any given ride, I’d much rather wear a cotton t shirt than a jersey because it’s more comfortable besides I can look cooler too!
