You got like three feet of air that time. Can I try it really quick?

A Morning Pick Me Up

Every morning I always have a cup of coffee. I’m a bit of a coffee snob or perhaps just addicted to it so I make sure I drink the best(IMO), Starbucks.

I usually will have my standard 1 cup in the morning. But on morning rides, I’ll go wild and crazy and drink…1 and a half cups! Whoa! I know what you’re thinking, “that RL guy is CRAZY!” Yup I am. But the doctors said the medication will help with that. Back to the coffee. So not only do I drink the stuff to help prevent my caffeine addiction headaches, but I drink it to make sure I am pretty alert and energized for the trails.

I’ve tried Redbull or Monster drinks before, but all that did was give me a stomach ache. Any suggestions on how to walk up quickly in the morning before a ride?

Have plenty of sleep the night before… Duh

I have one cup a day but I can’t drink coffee before a ride. Too acidic. I usually have oatmeal or a bananna. I hear apples are a great alternative to coffee though. The crunch wakes you up or something.

The crunch thing seems to work. As for the acidity in the coffee, try cold press iced coffee. It seems to kill the acidity and makes for a delightful drink in the morning that you don’t have to worry about scalding your tongue on.

    Starbucks Kenya, mmmmmmm…..

If you do weights or a workout for the rest of your body, try doing it in the morning. I started doing my workouts before work and I don’t need any coffee any more.
