Great New Bike!!!

Check it out! The Huffy Lakota Women’s Bicycle from Toys R Us. It comes with an inverted fork that decreases the rake of the bike and throws all those geometry numbers out the window. Who needs geometry anyway? All we’re doing is riding bikes.

Also, make sure to check out the XC race friendly front brakes. The brakes are located behind the fork to reduce drag and increase breaking… I mean braking power.

I demo’d one. Felt alright, but handling was kind of twitchy.

Sweet Bike! I only wish it came with the seat inverted, for that ultra comfy ride all day feelin.

did you read the reviews on the Toys R Us page?

I am not surprised. I have seen this many times before. I worked several years in a couple different bike shops and we saw this all the time. People would bring their bike in that they bought from Costco or Toys R Us and the brake levers would be facing the wrong way or the fork was backwards or bolts would be extremely loose.

Scary.

It improves the aerodynamics. I heard this is the new trend for cyclocrosss…

My favorite comment in the review section: “I usually go through 1 or 2 bikes a year.”

Are you kidding me? 1 or 2 huffy bikes a year? Why not just save a little money and buy a better bike from an LBS? Bikes are not meant to be disposable.

but all the steel in a huffy makes them quite recyclable.

From one of the reviews:

Cons: NONE

You know, there are some people so far beyond hope that you just have to let them be and go on with life.

….I guess.
