		<description>They are freeride components, after all...not &quot;weight weenie&quot; XC gear.  That extra weight means extra strength when and where you need it.

There&#039;s nothing &quot;low grade&quot; about 2014.  It&#039;s a common alloy used in some pretty high-end components.  2014 is one of the heat-treatable aluminum alloys.  For this application, 2014 or any of the 2XXX alloys is a perfectly acceptable and appreciated choice.</description>
