When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun.

If you take away the bike, what kind of rider would you be?

If you were to strip away the fancy suspension, carbon parts, light wheel set and all that stuff, what kind of rider would you be?

Or do you rely to much on your equipment to forgive you for your mistakes?

i would be a mad-sexy animal pining it in the corners like a cat in heat.

Well concidering I rely on a carbon fork and seatpost, and tubeless tires to ride a 27 lb. 2×9 29er, I would say I do rely on the high tech stuff.
With that said, the bike that said the bike that got me started was a 1996 GT Outpost Trail with an after market RS Indy C fork.

    Dangit Sedrik,

I was going to say Mad-Sexy as well, but I think I’ll take ownership of …”Damn Sexy.”

Yes, I would be Damn Sexy without a bike that corners like a Hummer H2….daannnng Gina! That’s wicked styles right there!

  4. Sean says:

I’m the type of rider that pushes my body beyond that of the bikes capability, which backfires and I end up hurting myself… doh! I put my equipment through he** so I keep things simple as possible.

  5. Ghost Rider says:

I’d still be Fausto Coppi, but without the talent, endurance or drive to win.

It’s OK to write ‘hell’. We all know what you mean. Even when you write ‘he**’, in our minds, we are reading it as ‘hell’. So, knock it off! God-dammit.

Without the fancy suspension, carbon parts, light wheel set and all that stuff, the kind of rider that I’d be… the kind that rides a Redline Monocog 29er SS and rigid! I have to say I do rely on the advancement in bike tech a lot. I bash and roll over into stuff and let the suspension sort out the rough ride. And now riding rigid I have to ride better and basically go back to basics.
