Sweet.. My setup is similar to yours but I have suspension forks. Not sure if you already know this but 34x20 and 32x18 is suppose to be our magic gear ratio. Haven't tired it since I don't have a 34t or a 18t.

Awesome bike. Just picked one up myself. What gear ratio are you running atm. Looks like 32 in front but not sure about the back.

Jeremy,
This is a great build. What is the stand over height with the 2.1 tires?
Thanks,
Keith

This just might be the frame for me, Thanks Jeremy,

Oh and the welds- big fat and ugly = more metal, I see that is a good thing. :-)

DT: They are really long. They're from pricepoint.com: http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/15130-015_SETAB6-3-Parts-705-Bar-Ends/Sette-XE-Curved-Alloy-Bar-Ends.htm

I never used bar ends before so I thought I'd give them a try and the price was right. I bought the long version mainly because I wear XL sized gloves but they're definitely too long for me. I could definitely go with something shorter. I've been told I can just cut these down a bit so I may try that next.

i looked hard and long at this frame for a single speed 29er. it had what i was looking for except for the rear tire clearence. i want to run as big as possible for steep climbing traction and comfort on 12-24 hour races.

my quest contines, glad to hear your sette is working out.
