A few months ago, Priscilla and I were on a night ride joined by our buddy Doc Thunda. As we were making our way back to the car, I saw a lady with her pet on the trail. Mind you it was dark. As we’re rolling up, she says out loud…”Tiger!”
I get spooked and decide to stop, I yell out to Priscilla and Doc that there’s a TIGER on the Trail!!!! Usually, when we see equestrians (horse people), we stop our bikes and let them walk by. But since it was a Tiger, I didn’t know what to do. Priscilla and Doc, stop right behind me and then the woman finally says…”No, its not a Tiger, its just a dog!”
DUH! (palm to the forehead) Apparently, the dog’s name was Tiger because it had a brindle coat…
Oh man I felt so dumb(rode the rest of the way back with my head low)…I’m thinking to myself during this whole time…”Ya its possible for people to have pet Tigers in Fullerton, right?”
