As I mentioned a few days ago, Torker Bicycles sent over the new Skookum for us to review. After assembling it, I was ready to take it out on its maiden voyage at the wold famous Fullerton Loop.

Surprisingly the Promax disc brakes worked pretty well. Once the pads got a good burn in, the bike could stop on a dime

24speed SRAM drive train was spot on when it came to shifting. By the way, those aren’t the pedals you get with the bike, those are mine. You’ll get a standard platform set of pedals.

The geometry was pretty comfortable, it felt just right for my body at 5’7″.

I’ll be reviewing the Torker Skookum in the next few weeks so make sure you check back on the full review.
