I love me some Ergon products and when I saw that they’ll be offering new colors, I just about screamed liked a little girl.

Interbike 2011: Ergon USA New Colors Available!
Interbike 2011: Pivothead
Check out this new eyewear that combines an onboard POV camera. This product is offered by Pivothead.

It comes in various colors and styles. Here’s Artie modeling the product.

This one would go great with Artie’s Stormtrooper costume.

The video quality they showed on the big screen tv’s at the booth demonstrated that it was a decent camera. I forgot all the tech stuff, but from what I can recall they offer a 780p resolution with up to an hour or recording time.
Interbike 2011: Artie, the one man Party!
If you didn’t know, Team Racer/Staff Writer, Art(ie) Aguilar is a party on wheels. This guy knows how to rock out at Interbike. Here’s a photo of Artie getting things warmed up. This was taken at the BTI booth where he downed 2 shots of whiskey.

Then it came to the Vegas night life. I decided to try and keep up with Artie by taking some shots of 5hour Energy, judging by my reaction, you can tell we didn’t like it…YUCK! But the stuff works!

That night we hit a buffet and it truly is an event to watch Artie eat. For a guy his size, he can out eat anyone! I’d even put money on it.

Here’s Artie partying it up. He wanted to get on stage to show people how it SHOULD be done. From what I heard, he was on stage all night, in fact he didn’t get back to our condo until 3am.

So if you ever have an opportunity to party it up with Artie, do so! He’s a ton of fun to be with.
Interbike 2011: Icetoolz
Icetoolz has been a long supporter of the MtnBikeRiders.com Race Team and we totally believe in their products because they are reliable, durable and gosh darnit, we really like them! So when we heard they were introducing “shop quality” tools, shoot, I just about yelled like a giddy school girl.
Interbike 2011: High End Brand with Crappy Bikes
So here’s something I don’t get. Why do high-end brands like Mercedes and Ferrari line themselves up with cheap, crappy Wal-Mart-ish types of bikes as a branded item?
SRAM X4? Geez if its a Ferrari shouldn’t it be an X0?

Here’s a single speed/fixie, but I doubt hipsters would go for this since it maybe considered too mainstream…

Interbike 2011: FSA
Before Sea Otter 2011, FSA mentioned they were coming out with an angled headset to rival the very popular Cane Creek Angleset. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the prototype available in spring but at Interbike they had them on display. Scheck it out mang!

The Orbit comes in 3 different angle sizes, 0.5ยบ, 1.0ยบ and 1.5ยบ and it works on a gimble bearing seat and headset cup angles, and are expected to work with different head tube sizes including standard straight 1.5โณ, Tapered, 50/55 and 1.5 ZeroStack 50/62.

FSA borrowed a trend that is cresting in BMX is Polycarbonate. See the last headset on each row, its polycarbonate.

Interbike 2011: KHS Bicycles
Met up with our friends at KHS Bicycles. Got to see the new bikes they are offering for 2012. First up is the SixFifty609.

Specs:

This bike has some pretty lines.

Can’t go wrong with American Classic.

Then we have the SixFifty656, a full suspension version.

The newest bike for KHS is the new Saguaro. This is a full carbon 29er.

Last but not least, my favorite part of KHS Bicycles, Vince Calvillo.
