DIRTDEMO HERE WE COME!!
Well we are here again and we kick it off with the Dirtdemo in Boulder City NV.
So take a look at what was around from all the vendor’s that were outside on this nice 80’s sunny day.
HERE’S ONE BADASS RIG. FULL SUSPENSION, DISC, HAND CRANK, AND E-BIKE CAPABLE.
THE OWNER OF THIS COOL MACHINE IS JEREMY MCGHEE. HE WAS THE FEATURE OF THE “DROP IN” FILM PROJECT BACK IN 2014 AND HIS NEXT CHALLENGE IS “THE UNPAVED TOUR”.
HAND CRANK, THE ELECTRIC PART IS PEDAL ASSIST, YOU STEER WITH YOUR CHEST VIA THE CHEST PAD, HOWEVER IF YOU WANT TO A THROTTLE LEVER CAN HELP WITH THE FUN.
PATROL MOUNTAIN BIKES DEMOING THEIR RIDES. LOOKED A BIT EMPTY, THAT’S A GOOD THING.
PATROL’S ENDURO RIG
G-FORM ONE OF OUR OLD REVIEW HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN THE FOR FRONT. THEY WERE BUSY DEMOING PADS.
A NEW PRODUCT FROM G-FORM IS GLOVES. USING THE SAME PROTECTION AS ON THE KNEE AND ELBOW.
$5 DOLLAR DONATION TO I.M.B.A. , A COLD BEER AND A COOL PINT GLASS FROM G-FORM. WHY NOT!!
NOTING LIKE TEAMING UP FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
DAINESE SHOWED UP WITH A NEW RIG. THEIR OWN MOBILE SHOWROOM LOOKED LIKE THEY MEAN BUSINESS.
LIKE I SAID THIS SET UP WAS AWESOME, IT EVEN HAS ITS OWN TOP DECK ON THE ROOF OF THE TRAILER.
VERY CLASSY SET UP.
DAINESE ALWAYS HAS SOMETHING NEW TO SHOW AND THIS YEAR WAS NO EXCEPTION. DAINESE IS NOW OFFERING KIDS PROTECTION BASED FROM THE THEIR OWN PROPRIETARY SOFT IMPACT PROTECTION. THIS WILL COME IN A SHORT AND A SEPARATE TOP.
ALL THE IMPACT POINTS ARE COVERED WHERE NEEDED JUST LIKE THEIR BIG BROTHERS. SHOULDERS AND ELBOWS BOTH USE A DERIVATIVE OF DAINESE PRO ARMOR.
THE KIDS BACK PROTECTION USES THE SAME TYPE OF MEMORY IMPACT MATERIALS AND THEIR BIG BROTHERS. CRASH ABSORB AS THEY CALL IT, ALSO PROTECTS THE CHEST AND SIDES. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THE CUTS YOU SEE IN THE BACK PROTECTION ALLOWS FOR MORE MOVEMENT AND BREATH ABILITY. OH AND HERE IS ONE THING THAT DAINESE WILL ALWAYS SEE AS IMPORTANT. THIS BACK PROTECTION IS LEVER CE1 RATED.
SIDE IMPACT ON THE SHORTS IS A PLUS AND ALWAYS WORKS WELL. THIS I CAN SAY FOR SURE.
FULL CHEST PROTECTION IS IMPORTANT AND NOT FORGOTTEN HERE.
HERE IS THE BIG BROTHER TO THE NEW KIDS SAFETY JACKET. YOU CAN SEE HOW THE PROTECTION FEATURES FOR THE ADULT VERSION HAS CARRIED OVER FOR THE KIDS VERSION.
NOTHING HAS CHANGED FOR THE NEWEST TRAILSKINS. HOPE TO TEST THESE SOON.
ALL DAY LONG DEMO DAINESE LATEST KNEE AND ELBOW.
Still they seem to be the big thing this year. HAIBKIE had the biggest wait to try anything. this was incredible to see.
HAIBIKE’S DH RIG LOOKED MEAN AND FAST.
LONG LINES AT HAIBIKE DIDN’T DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM WAITING.
THESE ENDURO MODELS LOOKED FUN. THEY WON’T LAST LONG WITH THE LINES.
HAIBIKE’S PEOPLE WERE BUSY ALL DAY.
TIME TO HIT A TRAIL, I THINK THIS GUYS FRIENDS SHOULD GET A LITTLE HEAD START.
SHIMANO’S OWN E-BIKE MOTOR.
THE PEEP’S YOU HUNGRY AFTER ALL THOSE DEMOS?? NO PROBLEM.
DEMO SOME SHADES, AFTER ALL YOU HAVE TO LOOK COOL ON THE TRAIL.
THE MIGHTY “Q”!! KHS GUY KEEPING THE RIDES MOVING.
“OK THIS LITTLE BUTTON WILL HELP YOU PEDAL, THIS ONE IS FOR WHEELIES, THIS ONE IS FOR THE ROCKETS.” “YES IT’S AN E-BIKE.”
MET SOME GUYS FROM A NEW PACK COMPANY OUT OF AUSTRALIA. HENTY BACKPACKS CHANGES THE WAY TO CARRY YOUR HYDRATION PACK AND GEAR.
HENTY BELIEVES BRINGING THE HYDRATION BLADDER LOWER TO THE CENTER OF GRAVITY HELPS PROTECT THE LOWER LUMBAR, GIVING YOU FREEDOM AND MORE AGILITY WHILE RIDING. PLENTY OF SPACE FOR ALL THE ESSENTIALS NEEDED ON A RIDE.
THIS LOOKS TO BE A GREAT IDEA FROM THE TRADITIONAL WAY WE LOOK AT PACKS.
ZOIC WAS PASSING ON SOME DEALES TO THE MASSES. WAY TO GO ZOIC!!
OTSO BIKES AND COMPONENTS HAD SOME NICE RIDES.
THE BUSIEST BIKE COMPANY OUT HERE WAS PIVOT. THEY HAD A LINE GOING MOST OF THE DAY. NOW THAT ISA GOOD THING.

From your roving reporter ART AGUILAR!!!
The handsome crew of MtnBikeRiders.com and BikeCommuters.com will be heading out to Vegas for Interbike! So stay tuned as we provide some show coverage to keep you busy during your work day.
After months of conducting studies, polling people, researching different offers from different cities and sitting around twiddling their thumbs, Interbike has sadly decided to stay in Las Vegas.
Here is the info via B.R.A.I.N.:
After two years of collecting potential host city data and retailer, manufacturer and industry partner feedback, Interbike management has announced the trade show will remain in Las Vegas, and that they are currently finalizing an agreement with the Sands Expo and Convention Center to host the industry’s show for a minimum of three more years, beginning with the 2010 show.
“The decision to keep the Interbike show in Vegas comes after years of research and communication with our retailer attendees, exhibiting manufacturers and important industry partners,” said Lance Camisasca, Interbike’s industry consultant. “The data and communication we have collected, along with industry recommendations from organizations like the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) and Bikes Belong, confirm our decision to keep the show in Las Vegas.”
