24 Hours of Fullerton Update 3

Last night around 9:30pm Moe, with our new friend Matias, decided to hit the Loop for another lap. I had to go in style so I grabbed my Rick James hair cuz that trail is a brick house…get it? eh…nevermind…

Matias. This dude is actually an engineer at Crank Bros and he’s not your typical engineer where they’ve figured out which bikes and components make the most mathematical sense to use. Nope, he just likes bikes.

Here we are towards the halfway point of the trail. Matias is so tall that he had to crouch down just to make sure Moe and I don’t feel so bad for being short…wow what a swell guy! 🙂

Matias…some random guy we saw at the trail, and Moe over looking a good portion of Orange County.

This is after the ride, we were freezing our butts off! But we kept our elves warm by grilling some shrimp.

So far its 7:36am…Moe’s done 3 laps, I’ve done 2. I may go out for another…depending on how my knee is feeling. We slept really well last night. Thankfully Moe’s trailer has a heater. It dropped down to about 40 degrees and all I know is once the heater kicked in, I was warm and toasty in my sleeping bag.
