When to bail…

Mountain Biking

We’ve all at one point decided to bail, or jump off our bikes right when it gets to gnarly. But the question is, when do you bail, should you do it right before you’re going to crash or do you hold on for dear life and see if you can recover. Here’s a few pointers that I cam up with that could help you save yourself from injury.

You bail…

1. When you’ve lost all other options.
2. When the trail is steeper than your comfy with
3. Right before you are in the air…this guy was too late!

4. When you realize that trying that jump is a dumb idea.
5. When you feel that not getting hurt is the best option.

Now if you’re a knuckle head and don’t bail when you should…you might end up like these guys…

and my favorites…
