2023 Xmas wishlist for older mountain bikers

These are a few products that have made my riding more comfortable and keep me riding:

ESI Chunky grips

ESI Extra Chunky Grips: The first thing I change on my mountain bikes are the grips. I do suffer from arthritis and these grips make a HUGE difference during and after a mountain bike ride.

Cricket Bell

Granite Cricket Bell: This bell became my “go-to” bell when I go riding. Although this item is not just for older riders, I think it is essential if you ride on areas where hikers abound. (I am talking to you, Fullerton Loop riders)

Nalgene ATB Water bottle: This is my water bottle of choice if I ride without a backpack. The lid allows you to drink you water without having to chew it.

Osprey Raptor

Osprey Raptor 14 Bike Hydration Backpack : I chose this backpack because of the thicker straps, the quick access side pockets but most of all because of the Countouring AirScape backpanel.

Doubleshot

Crankbrothers Doubleshot Hybrid Bike Pedal: I have always ridden with Crank Brothers pedals; the doubleshot give me the flexibility of riding clipless or flats depending on my comfort level.

Gloves

ROCKBROS Gloves Biking Gloves Men Full Finger Cycling Gloves: Surprisingly, these inexpensive gloves are very comfortable and have lasted a year. I like the gel padded version, very comfy gloves.
