Internet Brand Bikes….shrinking

Posted by RL Policar On November - 2 - 2009

For the longest time Ibex Bikes was the leading Internet Brand Bike company out there. They sold directly to the consumer, which allowed them to save money since they were cutting out the middle man. Well those days are over since they recently announced that they are no longer in business. So where can people go to now for a Direct to Consumer Bike Company?

Here’s 3 that come to mind.

1. Sette USA. Right now you can get the Sette Reken Frame for $89.

2. Bikesdirect.com. Same model as Ibex. They offer great bikes at a great price.

3. Fezzari Bikes. They actually sponsor pros and world class athletes. So if its good enough for them, I’m sure it will work for you.

If you know of any other Internet Brand Bike Company that you’ve received great service as well as great prices, leave a comment to share with the world!

Nashbar has great pricing, but they rarely have sizes and their shipping is not great. (I buy there still, but not with a smile).
